Katherine Pekala is a photographer and visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Katherine’s work exists in a state of in-between — clarity and distortion, containment and release — and draws upon personal experiences of double vision, emotional rupture, and the tension between control and surrender. In this blurred space, safety isn’t about certainty, it’s about finding comfort in the unknown, in the fluid edges where transformation can occur. What truths emerge when we let go of trying to focus?
